What Happens Next

After You Pay:

  • You’ll get an instant confirmation and a link to a short online interview.
  • Share any details you know about your spouse (last address, phones, email, relatives, employer, etc.).
  • Upload any documents we request and, if you chose the Full Package, be ready for quick e-notarization (where permitted).
  • Your case dashboard shows status and expected timeline.

Then:

$175 — Missing Spouse Search (Report + Draft Affidavit)

  • Intake review & setup: We confirm your details and map out search targets (names, aliases, last known addresses, phones, emails, relatives/employers).
  • Nationwide database sweep: Credit-header sources, DMV, voter, utilities, incarceration/jail, death records, change-of-address/forwarding, and open-source/social checks.
  • Verification & cross-matching: We de-duplicate hits, validate likely leads, and note dead ends to show good-faith diligence.
  • Professional Search Report: Clear summary of findings with exhibits/snapshots and a lead sheet the court can follow.
  • Draft Affidavit of Diligent Search: Facts tailored to your case, prepared to court standards and ready for your review.
  • Turnaround: Typically 2–3 business days; we include one revisions pass if you need edits.

$470 — Full Diligence & Court-Ready Affidavit Package

  • Everything in the $175 package, plus:
  • Outreach attempts: Certified mail to last known address (where required), phone calls/voicemails, and email outreach; we also check USPS, local jails/hospitals, and military (SCRA) status as applicable.
  • Timestamped Diligence Log: Every attempt recorded (dates, times, outcomes) in a format clerks and judges can scan quickly.
  • Finalize & sign affidavit: We prep the final Affidavit of Diligent Search and arrange online notarization (where permitted), then assemble exhibits.
  • Court-ready packet: Affidavit, diligence log, and supporting proofs packaged for filing—plus state/county blank divorce forms commonly used in divorce by publication (where available), with a simple checklist.
  • Turnaround: Typically 7–9 business days, followed by step-by-step instructions on filing, publication/posting, and next milestones.

Divorce by Publication:

  • File your divorce petition and request for alternative service with the court, attaching your affidavit and exhibits (we provide instructions where available).
  • If the judge grants publication/posting, arrange publication in an approved newspaper (or posting as directed) for the required number of weeks; keep the publisher’s proof/affidavit.
  • Submit proof of publication/posting to the court and continue your case (often by default if there’s no response). Follow local steps to finalize—filing final forms or setting a hearing, as your court requires.
  • If your spouse is later found or responds, you can pivot to standard service/uncontested next steps; we’ll point you to the appropriate path.
